Snub-nosed breeds can fly in the cabin. The ban is on the hold. Aegean's own breed document splits into two lists, and the difference is the whole point. The brachycephalic list, Shih Tzu, Pug, Bulldog, Boston Terrier, Cavalier King Charles and the rest, is barred from checked baggage and cargo only, because of the breathing risk in the hold. Those dogs are fine in the cabin with you. The second list, the guarding breeds, is refused in the cabin and the hold alike. The document covers Aegean and Olympic Air together.
Refused in the cabin: Bandog, Caucasian Ovcharka, Doberman, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa, Karabash, Mastino Napoletano, Rottweiler, Tosa Inu.
Fine in the cabin, refused in the hold: American Bully, Affenpinscher, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffon, Bulldog, Cane Corso, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, Dogue de Bordeaux, English Toy Spaniel, Japanese Spaniel, Lhasa Apso, Mastiff, Pekingese, Pinscher, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Pug, Shar Pei, Shih Tzu, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Tibetan Spaniel.
