“A large 1960s conference and diplomacy hotel above the Nations district on the Rive Droite, set back from the lake near the Jardin Botanique. It suits business travellers and those who want a full-service base with two restaurants, a spa and a seasonal outdoor pool. Dogs are welcomed with advance notice and given the run of public areas apart from the pool. The uphill Nations setting means walks are a short stroll to green space rather than the lakefront itself.
