Hotel Catalunya
Central Alghero hotel that takes dogs up to 10 kg for free
This hotel is part of the Daisy Curated Collection. Its information has been researched and verified, but Daisy has not yet personally stayed here. When she does, this page will be upgraded to a full Daisy Verified inspection.
What we've verified
Alghero has a proper dog beach at the northern end of Maria Pia towards Fertilia, where dogs of any size are allowed on a lead if microchipped, registered and up to date on vaccinations, though there's no shade, water or lifeguard so bring your own. Dogs may use any beach between 8pm and 8am under the regional ordinance.
Dogs up to 10 kg stay free, confirm directly.
How the welcome translates in person, at dinner and around the hotel. That's what a Daisy stay will confirm.
Free, Confirm at booking
What we've confirmed, at a glance.
The property.
Verified with the hotel, honestly marked.
Pets allowed free up to 10 kg per animal, with guide dogs exempt. The hotel uses a convention beach on the Lido, with dog access there not confirmed.
Where we can't yet confirm a detail first-hand, we mark it plainly rather than guess. A Daisy stay will close every gap.
Everything, without the wall of text.
